The heat pump will be powered exclusively by electricity integrated with the photovoltaic electricity production system provided on the roof of the building.
Geothermal energy is the exploitation of the renewable thermal energy of the soil or underground aquifer water which, through the operating principle of the heat pump, allows water to be heated for thermal or sanitary use and, in the summer season, to be cooled with very high energy efficiency and, above all, without combustion and emission of polluting agents.
The combination, as in this specific case, of the geothermal heat pump with the photovoltaic electricity production system further increases its energy efficiency with a consequent reduction in the costs of energy supply to the building and emissions into the atmosphere.
The supply of water for geothermal use to the technological power plant of each building will take place via an external distribution ring for the entire complex and will be fed by withdrawal and return wells in the aquifer.
In homes, the installation of the domestic gas network is not foreseen, with simplification and savings due to one less user to manage.
The new alternative in terms of kitchen equipment for domestic use is represented by the induction hob (not included in the supply), which constitutes the most advanced technological level of replacement for gas hobs. The main advantages are:
