The story
Designed after the mid-70s, it was built by the Italcantieri company of the Edilnord group (later to become Cantieri Riuniti Milanesi) between 1980 and 1991 on the basis of the experience of the previous construction of Milano 2 and in the wake of a need that had manifested itself throughout Europe in those years: to escape the unhealthy and suffocating congestion of overcrowded urban centers without however straying too far from the nerve centers of activity productive.
